"Let Him Do Whatever He Thinks Best"
So Samuel told him, word for word. He held nothing. Eli said, "He is God. Let him do whatever he thinks best." 1 Samuel 3:18 (The Message)
This short text says a whole lot to leaders. First, don’t hold back on what God gives you and is speaking to you. Second, trust when God’s word comes to you.
Too often leadership is stifled because we hold back what is most important; the full message of accountability and honesty. These two people were leaders. One, Eli, was able to accept God’s will and not enforce it in his leadership, the other, Samuel, never held back.
What will you do today? Our prayer is that you choose boldness and give those you lead the full picture of what God has given to you.
